This book collection is a real treasure trove for Jazz friends, built up carefully over many years as a complement and parallel to the discs. There are about 2000 books and picture books exclusively about jazz and in particular the very beginning of Jazz.
The range of the topic is extremely large. Beside the considerable amount of documents and photographs of the whole collection, the books are an important source of information about Jazz and its performers.
The books and the picture books are classified in alphabetical order by the author's name. Each work has been provided with a small sticker on the cover and has been numbered consecutively. Few duplicates have been kept in the shelves because of the different external conditions of the books.
